For years, our clients have been asking us where to consign their gently used, high-end equestrian merchandise. In September of 2009, we answered their call. A Bit Less is an upscale equestrian consignment store showcasing quality clothing, tack and appointments. And now, you can turn your gently used clothing and equipment into cash or a gift card that will enable you to go on your own shopping spree in either of our two stores. So get busy! Clean out your tack rooms and closets and send us your merchandise so we can get started earning you money!

For payment by check, A Bit Less will charge:
25% commission on saddles
50% commission on clothing, riding attire, books, tack, artwork & accessories
For payment by store credit/gift card, A Bit Less will charge:
20% commission on saddles
40% commission on clothing, riding attire, books, tack, artwork & accessories

We accept the following items for consignment:

Other equine related items & equipment

All items must be fully cleaned & in no need of repair in order to be accepted for consignment.

We do not accept horse blankets, dry rotted strap goods, dangerous tack, used brushes, dirty items or helmets for consignment.

A Bit Less shall determine the acceptability and has the right to refuse or return any item to the consignor at the consignor’s cost. A Bit Less will determine pricing on all items except saddles.

All items are consigned for a period of four months/120 days.
